Copyright & DMCA Policy

Demtos Clip respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This Copyright Policy outlines our procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
1. User Responsibilities
By uploading content to Demtos Clip, you represent and warrant that:
- You own all rights to the content or have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses
- Your content does not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
- You have the right to grant Demtos Clip the licenses described in our Terms of Service
Uploading copyrighted content without authorization is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account termination.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on Demtos Clip infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. To be valid, your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient to locate it (e.g., URL or file name)
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
3. Response to DMCA Notices
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Promptly investigate the claim
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
- Notify the user who uploaded the content
- Take appropriate action against repeat infringers, including account termination
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error or that you have the right to use the material, you may submit a counter-notification. To be valid, your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your location and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice
Send counter-notifications to the same email address listed above with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification".
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
Demtos Clip maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. Users who receive multiple valid DMCA notices may have their accounts permanently suspended without refund.
6. False Claims
Submitting a false or fraudulent DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in legal liability. Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing or was removed by mistake may be subject to damages.
