Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for Demtos Clip services, including credit purchases and subscription plans.
1. Credit Purchases
Non-Refundable Policy
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Once credits are added to your account, they cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash, or transferred to another account.
Credit Expiration
Purchased credits do not expire and remain in your account until used.
Subscription credits are provided monthly and do not roll over to the next billing period. Any unused subscription credits will be forfeited at the end of each month.
If your account is closed or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service, any remaining credits (purchased or subscription) will be forfeited.
Exceptions
Refunds for credit purchases may be issued at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:
- Technical issues that prevent you from using purchased credits
- Duplicate or erroneous charges
- Service outages that significantly impact your ability to use the platform
To request a refund under these circumstances, contact us at hello@demtos.com within 7 days of the purchase.
2. Subscription Plans
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations are effective at the end of your current billing period.
After cancellation:
- You will retain access to subscription benefits until the end of the paid period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- Any unused credits from your subscription will remain in your account
Refunds for Subscriptions
Subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, you will not receive a refund for the current billing period, but you will continue to have access until the period ends.
Exceptions may be made at our discretion for:
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Extended service outages that prevent platform usage
Plan Changes
You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing period. No refunds or prorated credits are provided for plan changes.
3. Payment Disputes
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us at hello@demtos.com before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and loss of access to all services and credits.
4. Account Termination
If your account is terminated by Demtos Clip for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy:
- No refunds will be issued for any purchases or subscriptions
- All remaining credits will be forfeited
- Access to the platform and all content will be permanently revoked
5. Processing Time
If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
